Dear Resident, Blythe Crimes update from Wednesday 3/12/25 – Thursday 11th December 2025. Burglary. No burglaries have been reported. No theft of motor vehicles have been reported. Theft from motor vehicle. Between 5/1/25 10.30pm – 8/12/25 12.30pm front and rear registration plates were stolen from a BMW whilst parked on Brambles Crescent in Blythe Valley. Virgin Active, Blythe Valley. There have been three thefts from the male locker room reported. The combination locks have been unlocked, bank cards stolen and used in fraudulent transactions with the combination locks then relocked, while members were using the facilities. The victims were only made aware when the banks notified them stating transactions were taking place. Please if using a combination lock turn more than one digit on the lock. Between 4/12/25 – 6/12/25 a black tricycle with black wheels a black basket on the front and a black basket on the rear of it was stolen from the underground carpark of Garden Square East, Dickens Heath. Thank you to Dickens Heath Street Watch for their patrol with St. Alphege/Blythe Officers last night. Thank you to Shirley Golf Club and Dickens Heath Library for hosting Police Beat Surgeries and to all that attended. Please make sure your sheds, garages side gates are locked. Move your wheelie bins inside your property away from any side gate entry. Please don’t leave your property in darkness, leave a light on. Ongoing patrols are continuing. Thank you to the residents who are helping Police with their investigations. If you see a vehicle in your area that you don’t recognise, parked up, please contact Police on 101 or use the West Midlands Police web site to log it. The location of new vehicle deposition sites are of interest to us. Thank you to Cheswick Green Street Watch for todays patrol. Ensure that all garden furniture is stored away in a garden shed along with any tools to avoid aiding offenders in committing burglary. Ensure that Wheelie Bins are not stored near to fences and are chained together to prevent them from being used as climbing aids or storing objects in that may aid an offender to commit a crime.
